Union Hall Specialty Call Out – QA/CX Field Inspector
Summary:
We are seeking a Field Inspector with experience in QA/QC, Start-Up, LOTO, or Commissioning
who demonstrates strong attention to detail and is technically proficient.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to follow
supervisor direction while also contributing meaningful input to the team.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Perform electrical inspections in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards
- Perform Live-Dead-Live verification safely and accurately
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
- Create, document, and track quality issues through resolution
- Collaborate effectively with field teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders
- Follow established procedures, scripts, and checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Actively seek clarification and verify information to ensure correct installation practices
Preferred Skills:
- Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
- Experience reviewing drawings, submittals, specifications, and other project documents
- Ability to understand and navigate multiple NFPA standards
- Proficiency in operating mobile devices (iPad)
- Experience using ACC, BIM 360, PlanGrid, or similar QA/QC software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Recent NFPA 70E certification, including LOTO participation on large projects
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience working on data center, high-tech, or other high-complexity projects.
